President & Director
James Nelson

Mr. James Nelson has been President and Secretary of Cruz Battery Metals. since April 2015 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Nelson has over 15 years of public markets experience focused in finance, investor relations and corporate development as well as serving as a director and a consultant to several public and private companies. James has worked in a variety of industries including: energy, mining, oil & gas, and technology. Since 2006 he has held senior management positions with several TSX-V and CSE listed resource companies including Cruz Battery Metals. (CSE: CRUZ) and Spearmint Resources Inc. (CSE: SPMT).

The relationships Mr. Nelson has built throughout the financial community has enabled him to provide much-needed funding to various venture companies and he continues to maintain this strong network in and around the capital markets.

Seth Kay

Mr. Seth Kay has been a director of Cruz Battery Metals. since April 2015.

Mr. Kay is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Economics and has over 15 years of experience in the public markets with a focus in finance, corporate development and investor relations. Throughout his career Mr. Kay has served as a consultant, director, and has held senior management roles to several public and private companies. During his tenure in the capital markets Mr. Kay has developed relationships with an extensive network of key investors, brokers and market influencers.

Frank Bain

Frank Bain, PGeo, has served as Director of Cruz Battery Metals Corp. since November 2021. Mr. Bain is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and has vast experience with a focus on lithium projects in Nevada.

Negar Adam

Ms. Adam has 20 years of experience serving in different roles, including chief executive office, chief financial officer and director for numerous public companies in the mining, oil and gas and technology sectors on the TSX Venture, CSE and OTCBB.  She was formerly the CEO of Makena Resources Inc. for 11 years. Ms. Adam is self‐employed as a consultant who offers consulting services to public companies and assists private companies with the listing process.  She has extensive experience in capital markets and has been involved in over 50 private to public transactions.  Ms. Adam earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia specializing in finance.
